Linkedin 'love In' Poem by DM W

O I must have shared
at least twenty songs via
YouTube video,
by Bob Dylan on Linkedin,
yet his primed music
has yet to receive one like!
Is it me or has
this world become so dumbed down,
calculated and
callous that there is no hope
left? Perhaps, it is
because the majority
on that fabled site
are shameless, corporate whores.
I don't think that that
they'd recognise genius
if it bit them on
their necks and then screamed bloody
murder.That, alas,
is their loss. I think that they
should watch repeats of
' Who's the Boss? ' That's their level.
While some of us are
keen to expand consciousness
many are happy
to obey orders for fear
of rejection and
the prolonged, cold- steel sentence
of solitary
confinement. Thanks to group- think,
and crude propaganda,
they lie in muddied sties of
contentment. Their troughs
are heavy laden with swill:
junk culture's debris.
I'd like to remind them that
Socrates had no time
for ignorant swine like them.
