Lion Cub Poem by My song Resound

Lion Cub

Walking towards the edge of the cliff
Will I get stronger if I throw myself off?
And if I am surrounded by sheep
Will I truly be the lion I was born to be?

If I am strong then why do I struggle?
If I am brave why do I tremble?
If I am wise then why am I troubled?
Am I a sheep inside a lion cub

A mighty lion, the leader of the pack
When the enemies come, he holds them back
Revered by all and despised by few
But I'm stuck in a cage, inside a zoo

Lion I am, but just a cub
Frail as I am, soon I will be
Strong enough to break this cage, you'll see
I'll grow up to be the lion I'm born to be
