to greet the 2026 FIFA World Cup,
my Messi is present; he represents
not just a person but the essence of legend;
the tranquil sea birthed a storm.
Even though the earth seems motionless,
Lionel strides. A murmur, sustained by
the strength of nature.
An infinite star, revolving close yet dreaming far,
the ball, his inspiration.
With every touch, his feet kindle the pulsating heart
and create enchantment like a magician's art.
He shatters the tempest
through entangled limbs and roaring cries;
the phoenix ascends.
He reshapes time;
the moments yield.
Each grasp he makes changes chaos
into elegance as he compresses the boundless
into his grasp.
What force dwells in a frame so delicate?
A comet's blaze, a bird soaring.
Defenders fall apart like transient dreams,
their aspirations unraveled at his seams.
