Listening to the wind, on such a windy day, listen to the wind,
What does it say?
It tells of the sea, and riding its swells, of the mountains, their cold, frozen smells
It whispers of the clouds, and bringing their rain, of sweet golden meadows, filled with sugarcane.
It sings of the jungle, its earthy must.
It moans of the badlands, their deadly dust.
It whistles of the forest, its gently clapping trees, of lush, flowery meadows, filled with buzzing bees.
It whines of the cold and Eskimo fishing holes, of dusty-dry graves, full of haunting souls.
It screams of a storm, and thunder to come; of lightning, and where it's from.
It hums of the sky, and the birds in flight, and when the day goes to sleep, to come a starry night.
It tells of many things, you just have to listen; listen, while it sings.
