Whenever Then Poem by Kelly Zion

Whenever Then

Rating: 5.0

You are what I'm looking for
Somewhere in these places
Life is what I haven't found
In any of these faces
Lost is what I feel right now
I've come to know loneliness
And pain has a name, I know
It's my own self-awareness

Love is what I want to feel
But nothing seems worth all of this
I've searched so long, gave up the search
And gave in to never caring
But deep within I cry all the while
These nothing days are passing

I get so lonely, get so tired
But yet I still go on
Sometimes I wonder what I'm doing this for
Sometimes, but then I stop
What is any, when so many
Things are left to want?

I cry but in my misery
I still miss you again
I think maybe I should sleep
Until whenever then
I pray the Lord my soul to keep
Until whenever then
