Listen, for divine word is a brightening light,
The light that has enlightened Prophets and
Awliya in its might.
I have listened this word, awakened and
enlightened with it,
Shaken hands with the reality,
passed by the revels of nafs,
Tamed that beast inside, quell its fiery bite --
all by dint of divine word,

Divine word, I tell you, is the sweetest melody
That I hear from the divine speaker all the time,
It shows the mysteries untold, .
One day, the verses of scripture right,
the next, a manifestation strange,
Divine word shifts away dark shadows
from the mind,
Some days, my dear, it is like a great sermon
of a philosopher.

The divine word casts away the fleeting illusions,
Divine word is like whispers, in silent conclusions.
The word highlights the reality beyond shadows,
The listener becomes a gnostic, with clear vision,
Divine word cuts off ephemeral fusions of life
with delusions,

Understand, dear, the divines phenomenal designs,
They come to sight, with divine's irrefutable signs.
Let not false and undivine words devour your soul's light,
Hold steady, keep your heart filled with True wisdom,
And reverberating with the echoes of divine word.
