if you refuse to listen
how will you learn
to understand
what other people think
unless you pause
stop to listen
to what other people have to say
how other people say it
try attempt to
understand
how what other people think
learn from what they say
a word to the wise
if you sit quietly listen
to everyone
from
the back of the room
within a half hour
an hour
you will begin to understand
what everyone else in the room thinks
from listening to what they say
or are prepared
to say in crowded
public spaces
private discourse
in small cluster groups
is always more revealing
