Lit-Fests, Pit-Fests, Spat-Fests Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Lit-Fests, Pit-Fests, Spat-Fests

Festival lights and noise soar by night,
But lit-fests are more noise little light,
Coolest controversy
Spell success, not court'sy,
And noise decibels dance with delight,
Million mutinies bless,
Follows then big success,
Ah lit-fests, pit-fests, spat-fests quite!

A literary festival was recently marred by ban on a well-known Indian writer living abroad. Another was marred by a spat between two theatre/film personalities. Other festivals in planning might perhaps be looking for a suitable controversy to ensure success. Strange, but there's nothing like million mutinies for success!
