Little Miss Sunshine Poem by Ashley Fortin

Little Miss Sunshine

Her cheeks blush in embarassment when she stumbles around,
How you laugh with her its like music to your ears,

She wears her bright clothing, sometimes dark, but never dull,
When you go to the beach she's the one laying in the sand,

When she looses her words in a flustered mess,
Like her hair in the wind when she catches a cab,

The perfect rain, so light and at ease,
When she twirls in its falling rythme,

She's your blue skies when you see her down,
Like a sickness so contagious she can't be alone,

Hours go by when you talk on the phone,
Your just waiting for the night to end to see her again,

She'll bring your brand new day with sunshine rays,
That dance so beautifully and wonderfully you can't away,

Somedays you just can't let her go,
When she makes you smile the way you havent felt in a long time,

A narcotic to her touch,
Her smell,
Her smile,
Her very being.

She's your little miss sunshine.
