Little Pieces Of Paper: Qualifications Open Doors Poem by Terence George Craddock

Little Pieces Of Paper: Qualifications Open Doors

Rating: 5.0

higher socioeconomic qualified people
often have only one or two children
then maximize support for their children;
with better education a good start mandate
this is called cultural capital smart moves

the other side of the coin is large families
with first up best dressed and fed children
doing paper runs and working early tend;
to start young with a reality check fight
for survival children from working class

large families I knew did well in later life
they tend to develop confidence work hard
expecting no help from anyone they learn;
apply vision good time management skills
knowing no one will help you having no

connections is sink or swim survival
is an education system based on no
competition good for us working young;
in rural regions is skills learned money
in the pocket to pay for study intelligence

without qualifications often means no interview
no foot in door no access to better paid qualified
professions the glass ceiling unbroken no access;
to a better lifestyle a better standard of living
qualifications little pieces of paper open doors
