Little Poppet - Poem by Maddy Jen

Little poppet come here, come here
Listen to the stories of the faerie world,
Little poppet don’t fear, don’t fear
These stories have gone and frayed.
Little poppet don’t tear, don’t tear
The faeries will not scare you no more, no more
Little poppet come nearer, come nearer
So I may take you to the wonder of the faerie world
Little poppet, little poppet,
Don’t cheer, don’t cheer
I’m not what you love
I am but a faerie dear poppet
Little poppet, do run, do run
So I may catch you dear poppet
Little poppet come here, come here
Listen to stories of the faerie world.
