Little Sister Poem by Elcee Haley

Little Sister

Rating: 5.0

Your eyes always flickered with something so bright

From the time you first opened them wide

I remember cradling you that one fateful night

I knew then, I'd love you through time and through tide.

You've grown up to be so amazing

From baskets to stage and to song

I could spend so much time praising-

You and never find anything wrong.

Although actually you can be kind of annoying

And sometimes you drive me to screaming

You've still charmed me into kind of enjoying

Our occasional fights and your crazy scheming.

Oh little sister I love you

You know that I think you're the best

But with all your antics I'm almost turning blue!

Sometimes I just need a rest!

Cute and endearing poem that captures the joys and frustrations of having a little sister. The two of you are lucky to have each other.
