Live By The Sword: Ensure Global Conflict

when we consider how many
live by the sword, the necessity

of armies in countries around
the globe, how few can make

a living from advocating peace;
then global conflict is not surprising;

The number of soldiers in the world increased due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine but data is not being released. In 2023 Vietnam has the highest total number of military personnel (active duty, reserves, and paramilitary) with 10,522,000 members. North Korea is second with 7,769,000 members and South Korea is third with 6,712,500 members. In comparison China has 2,185,000, India 1,455,550, Russia 1,330,900 ranked 2nd in the world as a military power, United States 1,388,100, Ukraine 500,000? (200,000 active military staff) in July 2023. Ukraine as a military power is ranked 15th in the world, just behind Indonesia and Egypt, Australia is presently ranked 16th, might rank upper when their nuclear powered submarines are built and deployed.
