makes happy lungs
once cigarette

companies
in a century past
claimed cigarettes

were good for health
calmed shaky nerves
had multiple health

benefits
hired
shameless

paid
medical experts
paid

doctors to promote
a sham safe smoking
lifestyle death habit

but science
cancer
disproves

these bogus claims
once nicotine stimulant people
smoked cigarettes

openly everywhere
passive smoking
was fatal scare

passive smoking
was killing
passive smoking

also people cruel killed
caused death slaying cancers
response swift banned

public smoking bans
in public spaces protected
innocent non smokers

who claimed human rights
freedom to live longer lives
in smoke free environments
