Living 'Their' Lives Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Why is it you have to voice your opinion,
And dislikes,
About what someone else does...
And how they live their lives?

'They just think they are so much better,
Than everybody else.'

And...
If they do,
How is what they do connected to you?

'I wouldn't want to be bother with them.'

Oh?
But giving them your attention is your priority?
I would say this,
Something that they have has you noticing.
Whether they believe they are better than everybody else,
Or not.
And...
I see them living 'their' lives.
What about you?
You 'do' have one?

'Yeah...
But I don't live my life like they do.
I'm more down to Earth.'

Correct me if I'm wrong,
But...
What planet are they on?
