Locked! - Poem by Adam DeBaere
Fading into the darkness, my time continues to creep.
Being locked in a dirty cage, you can't do anything but weep.
Your life is playing tricks on you, and you can't run or hide.
While the last thing that you heard was a big black lie.
Falling down onto your knees, all you do is beg.
Asking for a redemption for dees gone bad, you're shunned instead.
Forgiving yourself is what must come first to succeed.
Then sweat, tears pain all while your emotions bleed.
Evil lurks, without a second natural kind-hearted thought.
Swimming around the world looking for souls to be bought.
Distance from this thing, is the only thing to keep you safe.
Unless you want this wrath, then sit back and wait.
Don't forget what you were made for on this journey of life.
Making sure you have salvation form sins, nothing wrong, always right.
