Lone Western Trails Of No Love Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Lone Western Trails Of No Love

Love galloping down lanes that have been downtrodden by
heartache and heartbreak that somehow keeps happening
through the years.

Yet people still believe in love and will continue seek-
ing that one special person, who often never comes along,
leaving disappointment and sadness lying in the dirt.

Dust of a lone western trail lies along edges of a belief
and wishful thinking as every thought suddenly gets immersed
in something called love.

Getting caught up in it, expecting to be thrown aside once
again for love is fickle and untrue, beings of this life
never to count on an unconditional love to call their own.
