Loneliness Poem by Vocal Stains

Loneliness

An eerie of silence in a world of chaos, I dine alone in the buffet,
Lucid air of laughter, a fog of dark anger in me,
Gagged for thought, the calm silence devoid of the birds,
Before the tsunami of fervour strike, in all its might and glory,
The palette inked in all tint, waiting to cleanse them all away.

Nights a dread, like the haste peruse through a magazine,
Pages after pages of unwanted junk, yet searching for the one,
A prevailing calmness like the November rain- mushy, cold and dark,
Heavy steps and long breaths, sweats and chills, fear,
Into the night I retire, an icy leap into the well of somber music.

A yelp, muzzled cry of a midnight soul lost in its echo,
Sleep, ah, an alien, but it's accomplice tiredness a shadow,
I wish for once a day of my own, of my laughter in the room,
Fresh eyes and a glossy mind, warmth, kisses and hugs,
And a buffet with chimes and bells, hunger and rest, you and me!
