Lonely Nail Poem by Philo Yan

Lonely Nail

Rating: 5.0

The sad tale
of a lonely nail,
Rusting away
in the pouring rain
waiting for years
for its soul-nail
Daily beatings
by the angry sun.

Then one day,
it was yanked out
dumped, thrown out
there, among filth, it met
a rustic rusted nail
No more lonely nail
A happy pair of rusted nails.
