Lonely Thoughts. Poem by Hannah York

Lonely Thoughts.

I can't believe you've walked out and gone,
Left me sitting here all alone.
You slammed the door,
Leaving tear drops on the floor.
I'm just sitting waiting for you to come home,
I know you're going to moan,
I know I did wrong.
And I have been waiting for so long.
You're just one more person who's disappeared,
One more for whom I really cared.
Are you really going to leave me like this?
Hands balled up into fists,
My eyes are puffy and bright red.
I'm going over your words in my head,
Now I sit here and cry,
I'm terrified you'll be the next to die.
