It was early spring
We met in the garden
For me a fresh flower
You did bring
Written on a petal
‘I love you my doll'
Gathering me in your
Arms you kissed me
As we took a stroll
It was long ago
You had kissed
My pretty face
We are old now and
With every break of
The dawn I feel your
Love is still fresh
