Long Days Ending In Your Arms - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Here at this long days ending
I can feel you so very close to me
and all of you sweet loving warmth surrounding
and I wish I could just end it here
with you in person snuggling and sweetly kissing
but even in spirit I feel such deep
peace and divine comfort.
My God sweet Kira you are my Angel
and I feel so grateful to both of you
for being there for me giving such strength
and love undying and unconditional.
A long days ending in your arms both in spirit
and hopeful for actuality soon is such a deep comfort.
With you in so many ways I feel and know
what true kind care and loving feels and looks like
because you are those great things and I
always feel the beauty within you.
You're such an Angel and I adore you in full
so please my sweet darling wind down this long day
with me in each others loving arms,
I am not yet ready for sleep but just want
to end the hard tasks of this day
in the arms of the woman I so cherish and adore.
Such relief in so many ways at this long days ending
and the greatest blessing there is is to
end it in your arms in any way just snuggling
feeling your glow and surrounded in our warmth,
I can feel you so near and it fills me with cheer
and I pray that so soon you'll be here
to begin and end each day in each others arms
kissing and snuggling so tender and passionately
my dear sweet Angel dove,
come take my hand and I'll closely pull you in
to tell you I love you sweet Kira and you
are the only woman ever for your dedicated Michael
so have no worries of being alone and abandoned.
So at the end of this long day come snuggle with me
and feel these kisses so dear.
I love you sweet Kira and I always will
because you hold my heart and my soul
which in true trust and love I give to you.
