Long Dead Hippie Poem by Charlie F. Kane

Long Dead Hippie

She is a long dead hippie but she means so much to me.
Her voice sounds like someone who suffered so much,
Suffered because of others, suffered for loneliness,
And I know just how she feels.
The words hold such meaning to me,
And I echo back to a time I could never see,
But I can think and act as if I am remembering,
But I am young and time is too short too be spent living in the past.
She maybe a long dead hippie, but she means so much to me.
