Longing Good Morning Kisses - Poem by Michael P. McParland

A very sweet and loving good morning
to you my dear and I send you these kisses
so full of love with longing as well,
I also send you great big hugs
of pure loving warmth to fill your
heart and soul with light and joy
knowing how proud I am of you.
I wish you a very good morning
filled with such longing.

I am still shaking off the fogginess of sleep
and would love nothing more than to have
you right here sitting up in bed next to me
talking and holding each other and our hands.
I would give anything to be with you dear
and feel your loving boost as right before
I lay down last night I remembered
I had the dishes and now have to get right on them.
I would love the joy and lift
from your sweet cheerful kisses
which would make the chore pass by much faster.
I will be thinking of you though and be feeling
your deep love and care.
Feel all of mine as in spirit I wrap
my arms around you to give you all
of my strength and the love I hold within.

So my sweet dear as I now must push myself
up and out of bed to assure I get going
I send you these sweet good morning kisses
of pure love and deep longing,
I hope your day is so truly beautiful
and wonderful with you feeling me beside you.
I love you sweet darling and care for you
more than anyone can truly know my sweet Angel.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers
as my heart sings its love out to you.
I send you these sweet good morning kisses
with a longing need and desire to have you right here.
