Longing Soul Of Beloved Poem by Paul Sebastian

Longing Soul Of Beloved

Soul seeks its beloved soul
Lost deep in love's burrow
Distanced, soul is pining
Copious tears freely flowing

Soul screams across seas
Lost in the wind, love's pleas
Echoes heard in the valley
Mountains weep silently

Day and night you fill my mind
Moments, thoughts reel, rewind
Love carved beautifully, defined
Precious memories, forever bind

Prince awaited his beloved princess
In secret garden of castle's recess
His wait became futile, all in vain
Tears streamed as he stood in the rain

Soul lost soul of the beloved
Tomorrow is dark and clouded
Soul labours for birth of new dawn
To start a new journey on its own
