Look At Yourself In The Mirror Twice Poem by Hebert Logerie

Look At Yourself In The Mirror Twice

Rating: 5.0

Look at yourself in the mirror twice
I am not telling you to be a narcissist
Look again, please ignore the racists
You're good looking, you're gorgeous
You are unique, you are very different
Don't compare yourself with the ant
Don't compare yourself with Aphrodite
Don't compare yourself with Dionysus
You are beautiful, you are gorgeous
You're who you are: very dark or light
You're special. Cherish what you have
And thank God daily for the problems
That you don't have, for the vile blames
That you're not accused of. Thrive, thrive
Do your best. Be your best. Be proper
Be clean and smell good all the time
Look at yourself, that's not a crime
The mirror loves your pause, your figure
Do your best, nobody looks better
Than you. Look at your smile, your cheeks
You're special. You're like Apollo, Adonis
You're gorgeous. Ignore the vile critiques
You're as special as Hera, Eros or Olympus
You're yourself, you're a wonderful person
Be your best friend, your prettiest weapon
Be yourself in the splendor of the mirror
And enjoy the divine gift of Mother Nature.
