Looking Back Poem by Dani Warren

Looking Back

Rating: 4.5

Your voice whispers into my ear
While i still lay asleep
In my nightmares you dissolve the fear
I open my eyes and have a peak

Tired from watching me all night
You don't notice my sight
Over my face sneaks a smile
Our eyes meet and stay caught for a while

Dazzeled by your look
Held by your hips
I didn't realize how you took
Control of my lips

You touch me
As if my skin is silk between your fingers
You look at me
As if the world around doesn't exist
You smell me
As if my scent tingles your nose like sunrays

Those were the days we were in love...
