Lord Whitty's Post - Poem by Tom Allport

He might have been
Lost in his Post
But he ended up
The Scouser's toast
Who gave a penny
For his forethoughts
Lord Street's Whitty
Is still on course
One hundred and fifty years plus
And still not out
He was the true
And original paper scout
