Lord Your Name

Lord Your name is music to my ears
How sweet the sound of it
O how men have neglected to know
Of its awesome benefit
The only name that has power to save
Even though some men use it to curse with
Satan hates it the most of all people
But we are blessed with chapter and verse therewith

How blessed is that Lamb of God
Our great Sacrifice for sin
Who can wash us in His precious blood
And bring forgiveness's cleansing
Now we can freely sing
Not one armtwisting song
But the songs of deliverance because we're redeemed
And we can sing them all the day long

No need to call upon any other name
For there's only one name upon earth
That by believeing upon what He's done for us
Can offer to men a new birth
Born again by the Spirit of God
Not born of earth but from above
For God will implant His very nature in us
When we put our trust in the Lord

Joy in the deepest of sorrow
He giveth us songs in the night
He is the melody now flooding our soul's
Praise God He's our Chiefest delight
Whomsoever shall call upon His name
With repentance as its heart's destiny
Will know praise God! ...of a forever rejoicing
For the Son can make you free! ! !

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
