Losing Track Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Losing Track

Rating: 5.0

Somewhere while walking down
The path of life I lost the track
Getting confused with gory faces
Ahead I stopped to looked back

With my childish impudence I did
Not hear what the great men said
I preferred darkness to light and
Fell into ditches of thorns and bled

I realized the mistake and tried to
Make amends but it was too late
There is no light ahead to make me
Wise and can't say what lies in my fate
