Dear friend,
you were my friend for about a year
losing you was my biggest fear,
kissing, flirting, and our play fights
all behind us now like our long nights,
i could tell you anything and you could too
their was nothing we couldn't make it through,
I don't know why and i don't know how
but I'm sure your in a better place now,
i don't know why god chose to take you away from me
but he must have had good reasoning,
I'm sure now all the scarring has gone away
no more sadness because its a new day,
i talked to your mom and dad last night
they said their doing alright,
they miss you so much and so do i
but i know your looking down on us from the sky,
you'll always be in my heart and my prayers
and i miss you kissing away my tears,
and it's all gone because you chose to drink
i told you i would drive but you didn't think,
i never did get to tell you that i loved you
i don't know how to cope i don't want this to be true,
i miss you why did you have yo leave
i remember the day perfectly you were only 16
why did he take you away from me
