Loss
The sky is falling!
The sky is falling!
Lightning strikes a dead cord in my heart.
Electrifying my senses
Numbing my emotions
Clawing at my psyche
With frustration and confusion.
Burning tears melt the mask
Leaving behind a featureless expression.
___No nose to smell
___No ears to hear
___No eyes to see
___No lips to kiss
I plummet into madness
With the falling sky.
