Have you ever had the feeling
that you were lost in a world you didnt know
your whole body ached
and you were filled with sorrow
your heart burned
your breath so quick
many could not see the pain behind the mask
of the plastic smile you pasted upon your face
the world suffers yet you suffer alone
your mind filled with discomfort
seeking the comfort of home
a place where everyone was loved
and you knew you were needed
your mother was there
to give a helping hand
have a shoulder for you to cry on
a friend to accompany you
and lay all your burdens upon
this was the life
that was once upon'
where are the days where there was no pain
if it came it would go away again
the pain that i feel has no words to discribe
a bitter discomfort
to not show the world but to hide.
everyone has problems
and some are to hard to bear
a fathers love for a child
feels like it were never here
your emotions feel alone
you start to fall asleep
into the nightmares that once were
you now keep
silently you whisper
as you cry solemly at night
you hear words
that both startle you and fright
o how the happy days have come once again
or is it a figment of my imagination
for the light at this tunnel has not yet turned on
but one day that will change
as i will pull a candle and match out of my pocket
and brighten up the sky
to leave this world behind
with both you and i
