Lost Blossoms Poem by Phil Soar

Lost Blossoms

Rating: 4.5

Scattered over lawns of green
Blossom from the cherry trees
Carpets of petals
Covering grass
Sheltering insects
That struggle to pass
Birds pick their way
Through the delicate trash
Petals once beautiful
Just do not last
