Lost In The Woods Poem by Martin Greyford

Lost In The Woods

Rating: 5.0

Did start the journey together
In the deep of the Amazon.

Everything was alright and
Then from no where
You flattered out.

I know I caused it
But you didn't have to go.
You said love will always find a way

But yet am still stack
Where you left me accamp.
Please come back and

Lead the way again,
Like before -
I swear I'll never

Never ever
Say a stupid thing again.

Now I understand your importance
Not that I'm lost but
That you are gone.

I'm stranded
Don't know which road to take
Don't even know
Which is east, west, south or north.

Only a small ray of sunlight
Shining through just where I am.
