Lost In Thought - Poem by Billy Loving

All as pleasant as can be
While standing under an ancient oak tree
Visions my eyes do see

Bone chilling cold
As the day's events unfold
Majestic beauty I behold

Without a care
I blankly stare
Of life's tribulations unaware

A brief respite
Much to my delight
Day succumbing to night
As I disappear from sight
