I never thought that you would leave
You left without goodbye
Now all i do is cry and cry
I wish i could turn back time
And prove to you
Just how much you really mean

I always pushed you away
When i needed you the most
You said 'I care' but i didnt believe
You fought so hard
I gave up
You walked away
I didnt follow

Now im sittin here all alone
Full of pain and regret
I never realized what a good thing i had
Until it was gone
I never fully saw
That you were the one
I let you go
And i realize
Just how much i really love you
