Lost Love Poem by Terry Hicks

Lost Love

To the one I love and lost
Our hearts they've turn to frost
We still talk now and then
But it's not like it was oh way back when
Back when I looked into you and you into me
But now we just look at and let it be
I gave you my heart broken and scarred
I know you will never allow it to be discard
I'd give my all in hopes to see you smile
Even if I'm seeing from miles and miles
I can't be next to you as I desire
But my love for you will never expire
When I close my eyes and dream of bliss
My only thought is of our first sweet kiss
This is the end of my little rhyme
I hope to see you again sometime
