Lost My Poem On Site, Unseen! (Repost)

The site misplaced a poem of mine,
It flew this coop on December nine.
I wrote the PH Team a note
About this poem That I wrote
On Autumn, and its harvest grace;
How was it lost without a trace?

I needed fair answers as to why
Out of the hundreds of poems I write
It had to be this one misplaced;
Was it Somewhere in PH cyberspace?

Now, at this point, you might chime in,
'Why so obsessed with this venial sin'?
My God, it's only one twenty line poem
Why not just leave this one glitch alone?

Well, okay, I've an answer for all of those
Who appreciate poetry, tell-tale and prose.
You see this poem I lost on PH
Was given some special top accolades.
As for the past hundred months(eight years & some)
This poems' had a notable top listed run
On Poemhunters Top 5oo Poems List.
Now, do you understand...got the gist?
That is, until this past December nine
When its mega-months run got lost in time.

So, why don't I shut-up and re-post this work
It's only 1 poem, don't be a jerk!
Well, you see there is more to this story to tell,
That got handled far short of professional.
For, when I wrote my note to the PH Team
They were faster than fast in accomodating me,
By returning my note with one of their own,
Telling me in a very sure tone
That they'd investigate its whereabouts
And follow-up, no shred of doubt.

And, they did within less than two days
However their answer but left me dismayed.
They claimed they could not trace this poem
And then furthermore claimed that it had no home
They claimed this sted poem had no history
Of ever being a PH entry!

And this is why I continue my taxing plight
To get my return of this poem on site
And back on the Top 5OO P-List
Where 'PH' placed it in Two-Thousand-Six.

And just for the record, why don't I repost?
Because if I do the work will not host
The hundred plus comments that helped it rise
To the Top Poems List 'til December nine.

So, dear Fellow Members with fairness please try
And in placing my ego and hubris aside.....
I'd like to ask you all to judge and decide
If my feelings and actions are all justified?

AUTHOR'S NOTE...................................

I originally Posted the above poem in
late December,2014.Most unfortunately
as of today, and almost two years
later, I am still waiting on any reply
as to the possible whereabouts of my
poem titled 'In The Autumn of The Year'
which I have since re-posted, but ob-
viously without the dozens upon dozens
of loyal Reader comments that I was so
privileged in re-ceiving over its eight
year run on poemhunter. I thought that
perhaps a wee bit o' levity in writing
this poem might garner some attention
from management and trigger a reply.How-
ever, so far, no dice as they say(whoever
'THEY' are) Ah! I'll try one more time. It's
getting near 8 moths now...Perhaps
this time will be the charm?
