Deep down beneath
There lies under your feet
An ancient civilisation
That defies imagination
Venture far within
To seek where it begins
A sight of fascination
The heat of all creation
My comment 'sent' before I finished! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ; ( How about 'defies'? ? : )
About thia quote, 'An ancient civilisation That devies imagination': Civilisation' 'looks' British; in America we usually use a 'z', not 's'. ;) But I bet you want 'defies'.
'An ancient civilisation That devies imagination' You are the 2nd PH 'New Poet' I've told today to proofread. I particularly proofread my poem several times to catch typos before and after submitting.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
The rhyming is ok. It would be interesting to read MORE about the 'civilisation'/civilization, ....BUT it may not be possible, as 'it' DEFIES imagination. bri ;)
