Sometimes, witness
turns hostile and faces
lot many questions
in the custody and courts

what happens when one sees the gruesome incident
and absents himself
for having not at all seen
denying the ample witness of the scene

in some cases, the witnesses are silenced
leaving behind no trace
the authorities find it difficult
to build any evidence

more you suppress the evidence
less are the chances of the sentence passed against the culprit
in such cases, the culprits go scot-free
you can do nothing except to sit down and watch under the tree

we have a very liberal system
and even able investigationteams fail
as there are many loopholes
and criminals take advantage ofloose threads
