Love Poem by Aron Heroux

Love

Rating: 4.5

We throw ourselves out there
Naked and shivering in the cold
Casting aside our costumes
and the comfortable lies we've been told
It bruises me to touch you
and it breaks my jaw to speak
but blood flows through me
I am strong, I am weak
I want to feel something more
than this life I've outgrown
I want to feel something new
I refuse to believe I'm alone

So take my hand baby
and we'll walk the wire
Take my hand and together
We'll step into the fire
