Love - Poem by Elphaba Thropp

Will I ever find true love?

Will I ever find someone who likes me for me?

Or will I just be an old lady who lives alone with cats and dogs?

When will I find that perfect guy?

Have I already?

The guy I like, I've known forever.

His mom use to be my fourth grade teacher,

And he plays the Alto saxophone just like me.

But the problem is,

I don't think he notices me.

We cross each other's paths

And he sees me,

But I don't think he really sees me.

I will never give up on my dream,

Because maybe he might just be

My one true love.

Trina, enjoy your childhood, growing up can happen very suddenly, and painfully. (Report) Reply
