A few sincere friends
Is all you need in this life
to lessen your strife
God sends you a friend
To protect and to defend
Their kindness they lend
A friend makes you smile
Just to know that they are there
To lend you their care
Friends can come and go
But in your heart you do know
That care they dared show
If friends should find love
Then feel blessed from God above
So precious is love
