Oh my sweet love, I treasure you so
With a love so deep you will never know
but sometimes we argue, sometimes we fight
we don't always know how to make things right.

I never know why or how it may start
just that it cuts so deep in my heart.
For all the times we're in anger or lament
are moments that could have been lovingly spent.

I wish never to hurt you or do you wrong
In your arms only I long to belong
I want only to love you the best I can
without fear of a bitter reprimand
So all I can do is love and learn
hoping you will give me the same in return.
