My day starts with thoughts of you
Each day my love starts anew
My faith goes out each day to you
Because I know what you can do

Your words your songs speak to me
Your bright future I can see
Some day I see your name up in lights
And it is one of the most beautiful sights

When you’re famous I can say
I can remember the day
When you were struggling to make ends meet
Your success will be oh so sweet

I can say I knew you when
But until then
My faith and love go out to you
To help you do all that you do
