Love: Beauty To All Senses Poem by Daniel Parker

Love: Beauty To All Senses

see all of your beauty, its wonder plain to see,
It captivates me, showers me like rain,
The sparkle of your bright eyes, the smile that sets me free,
The image of you, always in my brain,

I hear your voice, so tender, so sweet and yet so strong,
The sound of laughter rings within my head,
It’s like a soulful chorus; I listen for so long,
One word is all that’s needed, all that’s said,

I smell the scent of roses, a deepened breath I take,
Your whole aroma brings me to my knees,
Just one single moment, and my foundations shake,
The scent of you, like flowers in the breeze,

Your touch, as soft as cashmere, I long to hold you close,
It makes my body tingle, feel such joy,
Feeling you, addicting, I need a daily dose,
Just like a child, I long to hold my toy,

For now I long to taste you, to see if you are sweet,
My senses overload just at the thought,
We move a little closer, my heart, it skips a beat,
With just one kiss, love’s lesson is now taught.
