Love Connection
Cloaked in a darkness of suspenseful stillness
interrupted by croaking frogs from the pond
Flirting fireflies intermittently glow brightly
It's a form of morse code send and respond
A surge of energy spontaneously ignites
Attracting the attention of a potential mate
With an amazing phosphorescent wink
It's an invitation that increases a heart rate
