Love Conquers All Poem by Jessica Gabanyic

The moon shines brightly
Shining over the river,
Fireflies twinkling like little Christmas trees,
A bridge stands over the river
Proudly making a statement of independence,

A girl stands upon that bridge,
Alone with the breeze blowing through her hair,
She's looking up towards the moon and stars,
Wishing that she has found the one,
That her dreams have come true,
That he's the answer to her prayers,

The moon starts to go down,
The girl begins to make her way home,
The fireflies find their home as well,
As she walk in to her home,
Flower petals litter the floor,
Candles light the hall way,

And at the end of that hallway
Is a man she loves
He stands in darkness,
Waiting for her
So he can wrap his arms around her,
And tell her he loves her.
