Love Didn't Come To Me
Love did not come to me
As soon as I had expected;
I waited for flowers to bloom,
For the birds to chirp love songs,
For birches to get draped with new
Leaves and peacocks to dance in wild;
Alas! ! My hands are empty, I feel defeated.
